### Before you start.

Is this n8n Cloud?+−

No. This is a self-hosted deployment. n8n Cloud is a separate service from n8n.

Who manages updates, backups and support?+−

Your agreement assigns server and n8n maintenance, backups and workflow support. Setup alone does not include ongoing management.

Can I use my existing tools and n8n workflows?+−

We assess your tools and workflows during setup, including compatibility, credentials and permitted access.

Can my clients build or edit n8n workflows?+−

Portal access does not include n8n editing rights. Editor access, embedding and AI-assisted workflow creation each need the appropriate deployment and license.

What is included in the hosting service?+−

Your order defines hosting, resources, access and support. n8n licenses and API or AI charges are included only where expressly stated.

Does self-hosting keep all data on the server?+−

No. Connected apps and AI services may receive data. Location, permissions, retention and compliance requirements are agreed for your setup.
